It’s Saturday Night

And you know what?

I have a cold,

a stuffed up nose,

fever,

a two-day-old migraine,

and random bouts of nausea.

So…

I’ve been drinking mint tea,

watching tv,

and VISUALIZING.

Dear Santa,

I want a MacBook Pro and a Zoom H4.

THANKS!

Peace & Love,
Mudd a.k.a. Oza
xoxo

P.S.: Yes, Santa, I’m being a good little bum.

Treasure Map Massacre

Treasure Map Tips

  1. Don’t make it too big.
  2. Know what you want.
  3. Don’t make it too big.

What I learned since starting the Treasure Map project:

  • I’m 75% sure I made this map just to have something to blog about.
  • Make that 99% sure.
  • No enthusiasm = no magic = no way it’s going to work.
  • The map being “in my face” all the time, I ended up
not “seeing” it = not effective.
  • I love my fake brick wall and its graffiti. I missed it.
  • Huge house with a huge studio = don’t care for that anymore.
  • Even if I’m now officially a bum, I’m a classy bum — I still want the Mmmm stuff.
  • Bored with a project = drop it!
  • The things I strongly desire are constantly in my thoughts,
so the visualization is also constant.

Mentally dragging this Treasure Map / ball and chain for 10 months had me thinking BIG TIME — excellent!

Since I didn’t know exactly what I wanted, I came to realize that it was because I didn’t know exactly who I was — aha!

These days, I’m practicing being my true self.
Viva la vida bum. :-)

I’m a Bum

Posted in aha! moments

This post is dedicated to Sylvie

As of yesterday, November 14, 2008,
I am officially a bum.

It dawned on me while I was at a party — my pal Danny turned 50. There was a crowd of… oh… I’d say between 100 and 150 people, anyone who was there last night can correct me if I’m wrong. Beautiful people. I knew roughly 20 percent of them.

At about 10:00 pm, while I was talking to my good buddy Sylvie, I had an “Aha! Moment”: after 15 years of financial challenge, I’m now ready to accept the fact that I’m a bum — it’s time to take the leap of faith.

Since this is fairly new and since I’m too tired to draw, I thought I’d illustrate this post with a photo I took in one of the lanes, here in Verdun Beach. Appropriate, I’d say, since bums often hang around in lanes and I’ve always been fond of them — the lanes, not the bums. Not that there’s anything wrong with bums.

And here’s another appropriate bum shot: garbage.

It feels so liberating to finally merge with my bumness.
Thank goodness I don’t have to change my wardrobe.

P.S.: I also have this thing for brick.
