Lucky Me – my new friend
I have a new friend. His name is Lucky Me.
I found him last night, on Amazon.ca.
Lucky Me should be getting here sometime between Wednesday, January 16, and Tuesday, January 29. They say he’s bashful, sophisticated, quirky, and irresistible — I’m crazy about him already.
My new friend stands 15 inches tall and won’t be getting any taller, which makes him the perfect companion to carry around on walks to the village, treks up the mountains, and bus rides to the city. Oh the fun we’ll have!
But most of all, I’ll finally have a friend with whom to cuddle again. Because during my Great Disturbing Move of 2011 and the epidemic of human stupidity which ensued, I lost all my cuddly friends… even iGGY. Fortunately, my friend Pedro was at my son’s house, at the time; the big brown bear is still over there, in Boucherville, as he chose to stay with my grandsons who take turns sleeping with him at night.
I’ll post an update as soon as Lucky Me arrives.
The kid in me can’t wait…
Neither can the ol’ broad!

Thanks for sharing your cuddly friends with me, Marilyn — I had to look them up on Google… not sure if what I found is what you have. But I’m happy the kid in you has soft friends to cuddle.
